Why can’t this happen when I drive my actual car?

I’m guessing at price is per liter not gallon?

The last time this happened to me I used 91 octane to fill up a 2009 Hyundai Accent. Even though it was the same price it just felt so wasteful since the fuel octane was the least of that engine’s problems (the main one being the absence of power on any gas).

That’s cheap. Toronto area is around 1.35/L right now for regular.

It’s also in cents per liter, which I found interesting while visiting Canada. I always knew they used liters but I was confused at first thinking holy shit over $100 per liter?? That’s like $400 per gallon or like $4000 to fill my tank! Then I figured it out lol.
